Kiev is the city where the new and the ancient make wonderful opportunities for historical and aesthetic tourism. Nevertheless, before you visit this mythical city, take your time to figure out at least two things: accommodation and transport. Let us consider selecting a place to stay. Start by considering what you can afford and personal preference, you can either choose to stay in a Kiev hotel, or rent an apartment. Count the stars on Kiev hotels to evaluate the quality of the service and accommodation and the price you are willing to pay for it. Kyiv has a number of high-class hotels. There are literary dozens of less chic Kiev accommodation opportunities. A five star accommodation will be approximately $400-850 per 24 hrs, four star hotels will cost $150-$500, 3 star hotels will be about $70-300, 2 stars will cost from $50 to 120 and small and one star hotels cost around 25-100 per 24 hours. There are also several hostels in Kiev for students and young people.
